Altered Hanger

The May kit is just fantastic. Such rich colors. And fun embellishments.
This altered hanger took all of 15 minutes to make...the longest part was the glue drying. So it is a must have quick gift idea!
First cover the hanger with your paper, trim around the edges and I took a sanding block along the edges to not only cut away any rough trimmed spots but to also give it a rustic weathered look. The edges were then inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
The felt flower was glued onto cream cardstock. Once dry I cut around the edges and then inserted this awesome big brad. The ribbon was glued onto the hanger along with the flower. For a finishing touch I glued one of the plastic butterflies in the center.
