Fun with Flair Designs Summer Time Fantastic Plastic

This month's kit contains these fun Fantasic Plastic pieces from Flair Designs. I sat for a while thinking of the best way to showcase them and here are some ideas and samples that I created.

These plastic pieces are sticky backed, so using glitter was an obvious choice...so I picked up the sun and two shades of Martha Stewart glitter and got busy:

here is the final two pieces together

and this cute card I made:

next I thought I would try using some Smooch....I then used some clear embossing powder to seal the letters:

Here is my final layout:
and a closeup of the final letters:

I also used alcohol inks to color the plastic:

here is a card using my shape:

the final idea I had was to use a sharpie marker...so first I used my white sharpie to color the flower in...then followed it up with a blue sharpie along the edge:

and here's the flower on a layout....
and here's a closeup so you can see how the sharpie markers looked on the finished product:

I hope you'll share your creations using this fun material with us in the I Am A Scrapaholic gallery! Be sure to check out the other creations made with the kit by the design team in the gallery!

Happy crafting....Lynda
